Villa Sand is designed using native non-endangered materials for dark mahogany floors and hand hewn walls in a open 2 bedroom 2 bath layout. The villa is a single story modern building with fine finishes, thatched porches and high mahogany ceilings in the local style.
Villa Sand features a wide wooden deck at the entry along with two screened porches facing the ocean off each bedroom. Decor is rustic/modern with authentic Guatemalan antiques, artisan crafted wooden tables and artworks. Villa Sand features a unique driftwood art piece and handmade lampshades using linen paper on a natural wood base. Furnishings and linens are tasteful and classic using light-toned linen, cotton and canvas fabrics suited to the casual Latin - Caribbean beach environment. Bedrooms are air conditioned.
Each large bath has warm toned rustic terrazzo floors, hand painted walls and hand crafted mexican tile. Both baths have tiled walk in showers, indigenous antiques and custom standing wooden sinks. Each bath has a window looking out on palms and sand.
